How much do you charge?

We like playing, and feel that live music should be accessible, so we work hard to keep our rates affordable. The precise cost for an engagement depends on duration and location, so please use our “Get in Touch” page for a free, no-follow-up quotation.

Is there a cheaper option?

We also offer a string trio (violin, viola and cello) and violin and cello duo, with similar repertoire, to fit smaller spaces and budgets. Again, just ask for a quotation using “Get in Touch”.

How far will you travel?

We regularly travel to Central Otago (especially Wānaka, Queenstown, and Arrowtown) as well as to venues in North Otago and Southland. Engagements outside central Dunedin incur transport costs.

Can you play outside?

We can play outside in fine weather, so long as there’s enough shade and shelter from the wind.

Can you arrange special requests?

With sufficient notice we’ll do our best to add your request to our repertoire. If it is already available as an arrangement for our combination (as is often the case) there is usually a modest charge; we only charge for buying the music, not for rehearsal time. If the piece needs to be arranged specially we’ll let you know what the fee would be.

Do you give your time for charity fundraisers?

We do like to help a good cause when we’re able to, so try us.
