How much do you charge?

We like playing, and feel that live music should be accessible, so we work hard to keep our rates affordable. The precise cost for an engagement depends on duration and location, so please use our “Get in Touch” page for a free, no-pressure quotation.

Is there a cheaper option?

We also offer a violin and cello duo, or solo violin, with similar repertoire, to fit smaller spaces and budgets. Again, just ask for a quotation using “Get in Touch”.

How far will you travel?

For bookings of two consecutive hours or more we travel to North and Central Otago (Oamaru, Queenstown, Wanaka, Arrowtown, etc.), and Southland. Engagements outside central Dunedin incur transport costs.

Can you play outside?

We can play outside in fine weather, so long as there’s enough shade and shelter from the wind.

Can you arrange special requests?

With sufficient notice we’ll do our best to add your request to our repertoire at no extra charge. If the piece needs to be arranged for quartet and / or is still in copyright we’ll let you know what the fee would be.

Do you give your time for charity fundraisers?

We do like to help a good cause when we’re able to, so try us.
